WHAT TIME PERIOD DO YOU OFFER SERVICES?

From my own experience, I absolutely believe in being proactive in our well-being and care.  I support pregnant, postpartum (the time following pregnancy and includes perinatal and neonatal loss) individuals, when you're healing, adoptive families, and the non-birthing partner or spouse.  Everyone deserves to be heard and to heal.

1. What it would it look like to sit down with someone before baby arrives to discuss any feelings you're having, address, and calm them?

2. ...to establish a relationship with a practitioner early on? 

3. ...to have a plan in place for care and support before baby arrives? To connect once baby is here to assess the original plans, address new concerns, and make modifications where needed?

4. ...to have strategies in place to support your partner and each other?

5. ...to have someone care for you before baby arrives so you can relax and listen to what your body is telling you?

The community has different definitions and time frames for serving postpartum clients.  Remember, your body endured amazing changes and transformations.  I believe - You are Postpartum for Life!

You may find you require support at a variety of phases-because our lives and children are always evolving.  I don't have a cut off date.  If you need support at -2 weeks, 2 months, 2 years, and beyond, please reach out. 

 

One of those most common and beneficial times to connect is around 6 weeks.  By now, you've had some time to adjust to your new role, but also typical care (OBs, doulas) often ends around this time.

IS COACHING RIGHT FOR ME?

Anyone benefits from Coaching!  If you have been saying you are going to try something, but the motivation fizzled out sooner than hoped, you have put off starting something, or you simply don't know where to start, then coaching is right for you.  There doesn't have to be the stigma in asking for help. getting support, and having someone guide you.  Still unsure?  Schedule a Clarity Call and let's talk in more detail.

HOW ARE APPOINTMENTS CONDUCTED?

Depending on the service appointments may be virtual (video or phone), at-home, or at the Mercer Island office every other Tuesday (7426 SE 27th St #2a
Mercer Island, WA 98040).  

 

I know as a busy parent, it can be challenging to make it to appointments with children (they always seem to nap when it's time to leave!).  I offer home visits for an additional fee.

WHAT AREAS DO YOU SERVE?
I am based in Kirkland, WA, USA (PST).  Many of my services can be done virtually and I offer In-home appointments typically within 1-hour of Kirkland (for an additional fee).  However, I am able to serve you virtually, no matter your location, for coaching and reiki.  If you're outside of WA-state, certain virtual services are available based on the laws of your state.

DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?  HSAs?

Unfortunately, I do not take insurance.  Depending on your plan and what services you use, I may be able to offer a superbill for coaching and postpartum support. I also accept HSAs.

DO YOU OFFER A PAYMENT PLAN?

Yes.

HOW OFTEN ARE COACHING SESSIONS? WHY?

Weekly-this is most effective for clients in addressing their challenges and making lasting transformations.

​

HOW LONG ARE COACHING SESSIONS?
Sessions are 45-60 minutes.  However, the initial session is longer as I obtain a detailed history and we get to know each other more.  It could be ~90min.

​

WHAT IF I NEED EXTRA SUPPORT OUTSIDE OF OUR COACHING SESSIONS?

I am available by email or text and will respond within 24-hours, but please understand if it's not immediate as I may be with another client or meeting family needs.

NEW SERVICES

POSTPARTUM HELPER

Four (consecutive) hours of day-time help such as light house cleaning, meal prep, caring for your pet (if safe to do so), watching your little(s) so you can nap, eat, shower, and more.

MEAL INSPIRATION & PREP SUPPORT

Meals and snacks prepped for seven days for the fridge or freezer, optional grocery shopping, kitchen clean up.

I'M NOT SURE I CAN ADD ANOTHER COMMITMENT AT THIS TIME...

Parents are busy and always on the go-go-go.  There is always something to do and someone who needs us.  How are we supposed to survive, though, when we're running on empty, reactive, or functioning on our last bit of energy?  We have to take that first step and care for ourselves.  

​

The goal is to help you make lifelong changes, so you can be grounded, have more energy, and be productive in healthier ways.  But these changes won't happen overnight.  Forming new habits and shifting our mindset around caring for ourselves is a process. But change starts with you.

​

Take a moment to consider:

What have you tried or not tried?  How many things have you tried in the past?  And at what cost?  Were they effective?

​

I care for my clients holistically, listen unconditionally, and take time to really support you on your journey of where you would like to be.

​

Hopefully, you see the time, effort, and compassion of our work together as a valuable investment in YOU!

MAY I BRING MY SPOUSE/PARTNER?

These sessions are designed to support you, the individual client, on your personal challenges and goals. However, depending on the circumstances, an occasional exception may be made for 1-2 appointments if it means your spouse/partner can better support you by understanding what is discussed in a session.​

MAY I BRING MY CHILD(REN) TO A SESSION?

Ideally, it would just be the client, but it's not a deal breaker.  Consider the sessions your 'you-time'.  It is your moment to breathe and chat with someone one-on-one so you can work through your challenges while focused and in the present moment.  However, I am a parent, and realize life happens-the baby's fussy, the sitter cancels, etc.  

WHAT IS REIKI?

Typically, you sit in a chair or lie on a table (fully clothed) as I gently place my hands on or above certain areas of your body, allowing energy to go where it's needed to best serve you. It's a lovely way to invite healing and relaxation to the body and take time for you. Distance sessions are available and are still highly effective!  I offer sessions  for humans (parents & children) and pets.

WHAT IS AROMATHERAPY?

It's a complementary modality that incorporates many areas of study including chemistry, botany, history, anatomy, physiology-the list goes on. It utilizes essential oils and hydrosols, which contain different chemical components that may support certain symptoms or conditions such as anxiety and stress, muscle aches and pains, skin conditions, and much more.

IS AROMATHERAPY RIGHT FOR ME?

It depends.  If you’ve always been curious, want to use it but don’t know how or where to start, have a condition you’d like to support with-then it's worth considering.  However, some oils should be avoided with certain medications and conditions.  Skeptical?-that’s okay.  Schedule an Aromatherapy Clarity Call to discuss your questions further.

WHAT IS AROMAPOINT THERAPY OR APT?  

The practice itself is a gentle, hands on method that places key, properly diluted essential oils on specific acupoints, chakras or reflex zones on the body in order to activate energetic and physiological changes. It utilizes the healing potency and energetic potential of essential oils in combination with the points to create profound shifts in the body, mind and spirit.  If you're familiar with TCM and acupuncture, which places needles at specific points for various healing purposes, the APT technique is similar in theory, but without the

needling.  It also combines beautifully with all healing modalities such as Reiki and Coaching.

I've also trained in APT for Pelvic Health.
